Ordering and delivery
How much is delivery?
Free on every toothbrush pack — any 4 pack, 5 pack or family pack.
Single toothbrushes and straws are $10, unless your order comes to more than $15.
Dinnerware is $10, or $15 for heavier parcels over 550g. If you order dinnerware and toothbrushes together, the dinnerware postage still applies.
Where do you ship from?
Regional Victoria, Australia. We ship Australia-wide.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit cards, PayPal and Afterpay.
Do you accept returns?
Changed your mind? Send it back within 14 days, unopened and unused, for a refund. Return postage is on you, and we don't refund the original shipping.
Because of the nature of toothbrushes we can't accept returns on individual brushes once they've been opened, for hygiene reasons.
Faulty or damaged? Get in touch within 30 days and we'll replace it or refund you, whichever you'd prefer. That includes our No More Spills dinnerware, which carries a 30 day money-back guarantee when returned in its original packaging.

How do you package orders?
Each toothbrush comes in a plain cardboard box that can go in your recycling. Shipping is plastic-free — recycled paper and boxes, paper envelopes, or compostable postage bags.
Subscriptions
How does the subscription work?
Choose the subscribe option when you add a pack to your cart and save 10%. The same order arrives every 12 weeks, which is how often dentists recommend replacing a toothbrush.
You're charged automatically, and you can change, skip, pause or cancel it at any time.
How long should each toothbrush last?
Twelve weeks, or sooner if the bristles start to splay — and it's worth swapping after you've been unwell.
The brushes
Which colours are in the packs?
Our 4 packs are a year's supply and contain 4 of the same colour. Choose from pink, yellow, blue, white or black.
Our 5 packs come with one of each colour.
Which bristles should I choose?
Kids' brushes come with soft bristles only. Adult brushes come in soft or medium — soft if your gums are sensitive, medium if you're used to a supermarket brush.
Older kids and teens usually prefer a soft adult brush.
Why bamboo?
Bamboo is a grass, not a timber. Cut it and it regrows from the same root system without replanting, reaching usable size in a few years rather than a few decades. That's one of the reasons we love it.
The handles are smooth and rounded, which matters more than it sounds when it's in your mouth twice a day.
Is the toothbrush compostable, and how do I get rid of it?
The handle is. The bristles are nylon, and they aren't — no fully plant-based bristle exists yet. A castor-oil-based nylon is starting to appear and we're looking at it for a future order, though the claims made about how well it breaks down are still disputed. When there's one we believe in, we'll use it.
When the brush is done, snap the head off and chuck it in the bin. If you can be bothered, pull the bristles out with pliers instead. Either way the bamboo handle goes in your compost or green waste, where it takes around three years to break down.
That's roughly 90% of the brush kept out of landfill. We'd rather tell you that than call the whole thing compostable.
Does bamboo go mouldy?
Yes, if it's left wet for long enough. It's a natural material, and sitting damp is the one thing it doesn't like.
Keep it out of the shower, store it upright in an open holder rather than a closed container, and let it dry between uses. Do that and it won't.
The handle may fade or lighten where it goes in your mouth. That's normal and doesn't affect how it brushes.
Are you taking the pandas' food?
No. The species we use is moso bamboo, grown on commercial plantations rather than harvested from wild forest.
Dinnerware
Can it go in the dishwasher, microwave or steriliser?
We don't recommend it. Bamboo is a natural material, with no fillers added to make it tougher or more heat resistant.
It may not blow up your microwave or melt the silicone rings, but repeated heat, soaking and high temperatures can deteriorate the bamboo quickly, causing swelling, cracks and weak points.
How do I care for it?
Hand wash, dry well and treat it kindly — a bit like your favourite wooden chopping board — and it'll stay looking good for much longer.
With the right care, our natural bamboo tableware should last for years.
Is it safe for babies and toddlers?
Yes. Our bamboo tableware is designed for little eaters and is safe to use when cared for correctly.
Because bamboo is a natural material, check it regularly and stop using it if you notice cracks, splinters or damage.
How do I get the suction to work?
Use it on a clean, dry, flat, non-porous surface. Press the bowl or plate firmly down to activate the suction, and keep the release tab facing away from your child.
To take it off, gently pull the silicone release tab. The suction rings come off for cleaning.
What happens to it at the end of its life?
It comes apart. The silicone can go to TerraCycle rather than landfill, and the bamboo breaks down naturally in compost or green waste.
Why silicone rather than plastic?
Food-grade silicone is softer than most plastics, so it won't cut a small mouth, and it's far more durable, so it needs replacing less often.
It isn't biodegradable, but unlike plastic it won't break down into microplastics.
