Bamboo really is the perfect sustainable material to make dinnerware from.  Bamboo also grows perfectly on land that is often deemed unsuitable for most other crops, doesn't require fertilisers or irrigation, and absorbs a huge amount of carbon dioxide which it turns to oxygen.
